Today more than ever before it’s tough to find one board that excels above the rest in the three categories of Powder, Park and Freestyle riding. We hand picked and tested several 2019-2020 snowboards over the last season and we’ve chosen the top 3 in each category. We really feel the boards listed here will serve you well in each category.
Powder
The Arbor Annex takes over the top spot and gets high marks for quick maneuverability and float in powder and a board that can transfer over to resort riding if you want. Cardiff snowboards are bound to perform great anywhere, we really feel the Swell is exceptional in powder. The Powder Glider 158 is ultralight and fun for those deep days as well, any of these options will serve you well for a powder specific option.

All Mountain
All three of these boards can handle everything from pow days to park laps and they all can surely carve up any terrain like a knife through soft butter. In our top spot, the Never Summer Westbound is a dream to carve on and will cut through crust and crud with ease, is stable at high speeds, and has tons of pop. The Nitro Fury is a top contender as well for all mountain domination. We had a tie for third, the Arbor A-Frame and Academy Master Series will handle anything the mountain throws at you.

Freestyle
The Proto Type Two, for the 2nd year in a row, is my (Chris) go to board for everything, I would ride this board anywhere but I absolutely still love the pop, flex and control it provides on park features. The Academy Propacamba is what I always wanted in a camber board for what it can do on jumps, side hits and especially how easy it is to lock into rails in the park. The Salomon Huck Knife with it’s massive amounts of camber allows you to pop off of take offs with ease making it a solid choice for a freestyle ripper too.
