Review:
Somedays you just want to wear a hoodie, even when it’s snowing. The 686 waterproof hoodie makes that a reality for most of your winter riding days with a stylish look that’s going to make you want to wear it more often! The infiDRY® 10K Fabric with DWR (durable water repellent) will stand up to most snow days, except for when it’s wet heavy snow.

I’ve worn this hoodie in temps down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit with an extra base layer and up to 45 degrees with just a t-shirt under it. The fit is a little on the longer side, but it does fit true to size for snowboarding apparel. It has a zippered kangaroo pocket for keeping a phone or a snack in while you’re riding. The left side zipper entry runs up all the way to your armpit so it’s easy to put on and take off, and it’s also good for dumping heat after a hike or a lap in the park on spring days.
I also appreciate the adjustable velcro cuffs, it almost feels like a cross-over to a light jacket. If you’re looking for something different in your outerwear and you like the look of a hoodie this is by far the best one I’ve found

Overall Impressions
If you are the type of rider that likes the urban look and feel of a hoodie while riding this is a good option. It’s waterproof characteristics and roomy feel allow for versatility so you’ll have the look of a hoodie and the waterproof/breathability of a light jacket while riding, It’s a great piece to have for winter into spring.
