The Giro Article II Goggle is a feature-rich option for skiers and snowboarders looking for a wide field of view, high-contrast vision, and comfortable wearability in all conditions. Thanks to Expansion View (EXV) technology, the Article II boasts an impressive field of view, letting you see more of the terrain around you. This is especially beneficial for navigating technical sections and spotting potential hazards. I found this to be very beneficial riding in tight trees.

The included VIVID lenses, developed in partnership with ZEISS®, enhance contrast and clarity in various light conditions, from sunny days to flat light and snowstorms. This makes it easier to see bumps, dips, and other details on the snow. I ride Grand Targhee most of the time and the fog there can be brutal. The VIVID lens is one of the best I’ve used in difficult lighting/vision conditions.

Swapping between the two included VIVID lenses (one bright, one low-light) is quick and easy with the new Slash Seal system. This is a major convenience when light conditions change throughout the day.

This goggle features the EVAK vent technology system. This innovative venting system helps prevent fogging by promoting airflow and moisture release while keeping the elements out. It takes advantage of a new foam made from an ultra-durable, non-absorbent material. The triple-layer face foam with plush Max Fleece facing provides a comfortable and secure fit, even with a helmet on. The Max Fleece is very comfortable against your skin.

The Article II is built to last, with a scratch-resistant lens and a durable frame.

Overall Impressions:

The Giro Article II Goggle is a versatile and well-rounded option for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Its wide field of view, high-contrast lenses, and comfortable fit make it a great choice for all conditions. Its features and performance make it a solid value for the price.
