Never Summer Snowboards rolled out quite a few changes to its always impressive line of boards. New for 2021 is a new profile, the Shockwave rocker camber. The Shockwave reduces the rocker area between the bindings and extends the camber underfoot. Never Summer states that this provides more camber than any other snowboard available.
The Proto line has been expanded and now has three men’s boards, the Proto Synthesis, Proto Slinger and Proto Ultra. All the Proto models carried the new Shockwave profile. We’ll have a review of the Proto Synthesis soon.
The Maverix and the Insta/gator are no discontinued but new to the Shaper Series is the Harpoon, the much anticipated Orca slayer. Look for a review on the Harpoon in the near future.
