Big Gun Review:
The Never Summer Big Gun is a directional board featuring Never Summer’s Fusion Rocker Camber. It has rocker between the bindings and camber underfoot, making for a very responsive turn initiation. You can really lay into turns on this board! It also features 19mm of taper, making it extremely agile. For a big board, it’s incredibly nimble. It really holds an edge well and is snappy in and out of turns and just wants to go. The wider nose gives it really good float in powder and this is where it really excelled. Surfing deep powder was effortless and crazy fun. It can feel a little loose underfoot due to the taper but is surprisingly stable at high speeds. Riding it switch can be a little challenging due to the directional shape, taper, and set back stance but still an incredible ride.
If you are looking for an intermediate to advanced board with a surfy ride look no further than the Big Gun.
