As I’ve mentioned probably too many times, I had a few years of major feet issues. In trying to recover from this I sought out new boots. I learned the hard way to replace your boots every few seasons. They become packed out the more you use them. For the older rider, padding is everything to avoid feet issues!
I tried on a ton of boots and eventually settled on the Nike SB Zoom Force 1. I found them to be very comfortable and decently priced. After a long day of riding my feet normally are done but not with the Nike boots. The provide plenty of support but are still flexible. They do run a bit small, I normally wear an 11 but ended up with a 12 in these.
My only complaint on the Zoom Force 1 is the velcro straps, there is one inside and one outside, my laces always get caught up in those.

But as many of you know, Nike is pulling out of snowboarding again. Too bad, I’ve always liked their gear. I owned a jacket and pants the first Nike SB effort and they were probably the best I’ve owned.
