Fun, function, and sun protection, it all works together perfectly for Phunkshun Wear in these stylish facemasks! I’ve worn mine all season and it’s still fresh!
I always want to support local brands, and I was in the market for a new facemask, since my current one was smelly and gross. Phunkshun has a lot of offerings from their expansive line of facemasks, so I knew I would find one to fit my needs. I prefer a lightweight facemask, and their site really lays out the line of facemasks/tubes from single-layer to multi-layer, so I was able to find the right product line easily.
I chose the SL (single-layer), a lightweight UPF 50+ tube, and what I really like about these facemasks/tubes is the material; the moisture wicking polyester is soft and stretchy, not too tight on my face, it dries really fast, and doesn’t smell. I was able to wear this mask all season long, and even though it’s a lightweight mask, it provides superb protection from sun, wind and cold in a variety of temperatures from about 15 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I’m sure the more heavyweight masks would keep my face warmer, and I would like to try the double-layer tubes in colder temperatures to see how they stand up. Other masks I’ve tried in this price range ($15-$20) were not as durable; the SL has held up all season, plus I can get another season out of it I’m sure! The anti-microbial treatment makes sure it doesn’t smell or get funky, and you can easily hand wash the mask if/when you need it, and it will dry fast. The variety of colorways from Phunkshun is awesome; there are so many to choose from, I’m positive you’ll find a mask you’ll want to rock.
