Quinton Bradford started Superfly Speedball Bearings in 2017. He’s been a skater since the 80s and wanted to give back to something he loved. As for the name, he always had a love for cult classic movies, blaxploitation, and cheesy horror. He wanted to come up with a name and logo that captured the exploitation film genre and the punk scene of the 80s that went along with skateboarding.
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Superfly Speedball Bearings 6’s, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their performance. These bearings are designed specifically for speed and precision, and they certainly deliver on that promise.
