The Ride:

I’m always in for a little cruising around, and this was my first experience with an Arbor complete. The Pilsner cruiser is a visually appealing deck, with its minimalistic cut out with the Arbor label on the grip tape, it’s what I’d expect from Arbor.  The deck graphics are really interesting with a throw back to a DIY, punk and skate feeling from the 80s, I found the muted colors to be very appealing and really like what the artist, Florian Schommer, did with this series. The deck feels very solid all the way around, very mellow concave with cut outs over the wheels, so far I haven’t had any wheelbite even when carving quickly. The wider profile sucrose Bogart wheels sucked up anything that gets in the way, they roll fast so you can push less and pop into some carves and have some fun, this little cruiser really moves on flat ground and picks up speed quickly on descents. The Paris Trucks pair well with the rest of the components and make this a fun board to roll around on.We have a community mailroom and the Pilsner AC has been a great way to get there fast – asphalt, curbs and rough terrain are easily handled on this cruiser.  When you need a quick fix, or if you just need to get somewhere quickly, the Pilsner AC will do the trick.

Summary:
This is a great cruiser, it’s fun to rip around your neighborhood, backyard, or roll around at your local skatepark. The sucrose wheels roll fast, grip well, and provide an even cushioned ride over most surfaces.  If you’re looking for a great little cruiser to play around on with some unique fun graphics the Arbor Pilsner AC is a great choice.

Pros:
7 ply maple feels very solid under foot
Wheels roll fast and feel great over uneven terrain
Fast turn initiation for carving fun
Kicktail is there when you need to pop a little ollie
Good size – Small enough so that you can take it almost anywhere with you.

Cons:
None.
